Stopped by this restaurant to try some South Indian cuisine and had a fantastic experience. We ordered the idli and the rava masala dosa— the idli was soft and fluffy, and the dosa was cooked to perfection. The accompaniments, including coconut chutney, tomato chutney, and lentil sambar, were absolutely delightful and complemented the dishes beautifully. We finished the meal with masala chai, which was the perfect ending. A great experience overall. Thank you, Team Southern Spices

The food is tasty, the dosas are delicious, very crispy and a good size. The prices are reasonable. I asked if I could add an egg on top of my potato-stuffed dosa (as I saw there was a dosa with egg) but they told me it wasn't possible, so I was a bit dissappointed. The waitresses are lovely and attentive. Avoid the bathroom, it is filthy. Other than that, a great place to eat at.

Had dinner at Southern Spices near Sandford, and it was a really good experience overall. We ordered the chili parotta for appetizer and dosa, vada sambar and lemon rice for mains. Everything was flavorful and comforting, just like good South Indian food should be. Chutney and sambar could be better but no complaints neither exceptional. The service was great, prices were very reasonable, and the food came out fresh and tasty. No complaints at all just good food and a relaxed, friendly vibe. Ratings: Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4.5/5 Value for Money: 5/5

One of my friends booked the catering service with Southern spice. I always loved their food in the restaurant and the catering service was equally good. The food tasted amazing and best priced. Delivery was on time and all the dishes were delivered freshly. The bisibella bath and idiyappam with mushroom salna was top notch. Everyone loved the food and had a great experience. We would be booking them for our next event for sure

A pretty good South Indian restaurant that truly preserves the authentic flavors and spices. The highlight, however, is its clean and well-maintained washrooms — a rare find among Indian restaurants, even the “famous” ones in dublin.
